About this site

I conceived this site in January of 2002. After a few weeks I designed the logo you see above. I came up with some slogans and ideas for marketing. I obtained the domain name in March of 2002. Then I made a lame attempt at a template. More a layout than a template. Didn't really work on the guts of this thing until recently. Every year or two I would renew my domain name always saying to myself "I oughta get this thing up there this year."

During Christmas season of 2008, I had a little free time and decided to work on some projects and picked this as one of them. Within a week I had everything up on a cheap host that I found. It worked great for about 2 weeks. I began to get some traffic. I got the first 5 or 6 posts and it seemed like we were rolling. Then I learned why the host was so cheap. They were crappy. The site went down and they couldn't explain why. Admitted that it was their error but couldn't retrieve my site. I was able to copy the text on the main page from a google cache. I recreated those confessions on this version.

Anyway, this thing occupied the low rent real estate between my ears for seven years before I did anything with it. I don't know that I ever developed any of the ideas that I had back then. They are still as young as they were when I hatched them seven years ago.

I have noticed over the years that some of my friends, family and co-workers have had difficulties that impacted their lives. They were often too embarrassed to admit these common place problems to even their closest friends. It was usually only after they admitted something to someone and allowed forgiveness to enter their life that their life improved. Some have had to punish themselves first, but forgiveness was always the goal.

I have also noticed that those that did not get an opportunity to forgive themselves, or those that believed (right or wrong) that they could not be forgiven often end up in a much worse situation. Whether they simply identify themselves by their actions and see no way out or just don't believe in their future, they are trapped. It is sad.

This site may not offer anything more than a way to express those things that trouble you. Or it may offer absolution. I encourage all who come here to take a second to read the posts and forgive those that they feel should be forgiven.
